Peace in Chaos *Favorite Resources

This blog exists to simply help point others to any resources that might help them in their journey. Whether that's a journey of inner work or parenting (which are symbiotic). It's important to know your tools, and practice using them for when you need them most (which is almost always for me).

Here's a poster my husband and I created for our adoption and foster support group, that you are welcome to download by clicking HERE.

You can also download a handout that goes along with each of these points by clicking HERE

It summarizes many of the vital things we've learned our the years and is a helpful reminder for us. We have it hanging in our kitchen or I keep as my phone lock screen.

Most of what you see on the poster is derived from the ideas of one of these resources:

God's words to us aka The Bible

"The Connected Child" by Karyn Purvis, David Cross, and Wendy Lyons Sunshine
empoweredtoconnect.org

Here are some of the other books and other resources I've learned from. Do I agree with everything they say 110%? No, and neither do you, but I'm just saying I've learned a lot and maybe there is something for you to learn too.
